The grateful Nation awarded him the Officer Medal of the National Order.
"This decoration represents, for us, the gaze of the highest authorities in our country, first and foremost the President of Faso, on our modest contribution to the development of our dear homeland. This is the place to express our gratitude to the Head of State. It is a pride for every Burkinabe to see his work recognized. It is quite normal and humane to rejoice at the medal we received tonight. Because this decoration reflects, somewhere, the good appreciation of the actions that we strive to place tirelessly through our various companies.
It is a merit that has been recognized. This is a sign of encouragement and a call to redouble zeal. We welcome this distinction with great humility," explained the recipient.
This elevation of Mahamadou Bonkoungou to the rank of Officer of the National Order comes after that of Knight of the National Order a few years ago. These high-level decorations continue to welcome the role of this economic personality in the country's development.
Thanks to its activities in Burkina Faso and in the subregion (Togo, Benin, etc.), the EBOMAF Group has given a certain dynamism to the influence of business and brought the national torch up by demonstrating know-how and a culture of excellence. The CEO Mahamadou Bonkoungou, does not intend to sleep on his laurels: "We do not lose sight of the fact that it is an invitation not to give up, to always work in a dynamic move forward to promote the socio-economic well-being of our homeland. Merit comes from a job that is continuously recognised."
While dedicating this distinction to his family, his collaborators, and the entire business community, the recipient appeals to his confreres and consœurs, businessmen and women, to persevere together in the work to meet the challenges of the private sector in building a prosperous nation.
