EBOMAF-BENIN: two new markets, Tangbo-Zè and Ouegbo-Toffo

At a total cost of some 20 billion CFA francs, the launch, on Friday 27 March, of two new markets obtained in Benin, for the development and doubling of the Tangbo-Zè roads (17 kilometers) and Ouegbo-Toffo (12.25 kilometers), confirms this consistency in the execution of the major works.

Two (2) new markets for BOMAF in Benin! After Bodjecali-Madecali-Iloua-Frontière du Nigeria (19.6 Km), Parakou-Wèwè (73 Km), Come-Lokossa-Dogbo (71 Km), a new market has confirmed its dynamism in the Beninese Building and Public Works (BTP) sector. The work consists of building modern roads through a 17-kilometre Tangbo-Zè and 12.25-kilometre Ouégbo-Toffo road development and road-laying project, a linear total of 29.25 km. They are part of the process of building or strengthening infrastructure initiated by President Thomas Yayi Boni.

The launch on Friday 27 March, some 50 kilometres from Cotonou, was a moment of strong communion between the Head of State and the population. "We aim to equip Benin as a whole with international standards. For this, we referred to companies with proven expertise. The one that will carry out the work here, EBOMAF, is known internationally to promote socio-economic progress. In view of the work that she has already shot down, we are convinced that she will lead this project according to the rules of art," he noted.

The successful undertaking has already apprehended this new project with the same intensity as the previous three. Even before the launch, vehicles took position to expand the sections and make it practical for the ceremony. Perceived as another challenge, it is immediately approached, in the interests of strict compliance with the specifications, with the same posture of speed and quality to keep within the contractual period of twelve (12) months. A team of officers specialising in the implementation of the various road works tasks is already working.

The use of a well-known company for quality work

EBOMAF technicians are working to reconcile the planning being developed with the activities that will be carried out shortly. "EBOMAF has a strike force based on undeniable human, material and technical capabilities. In addition to this, the expertise we demonstrate and the quality of our achievements are constantly advocating for us.

In the sub-region, our company has proven experience in the construction of the structures planned for the development and bitumage of these two roads which will in the near future make it possible to facilitate the movement of goods and people from the surrounding localities.", says Arouna Mouhamed, Director of Works at EBOMAF-BENIN, representative, Mahamadou Bonkoungou, President and CEO of EBOMAF at the launch ceremony. Estimated at some 20 billion CFA francs, the constructions of the two roads will have the following characteristics: a natural laterite foundation layer of twenty (20) centimetres, a stabilized laterite base layer of fifteen (15) centimetres, a two-layered surface coating. The dimensions of the current sections are seven (7) metres with 1.5 metres on both sides. In the agglomeration, they are seven (7) metres with two (2) metres on both sides.

The inhabitants of the communes of Zè, Toffo and Abomey-Calavi in the departments of the Atlantic and Littoral are hoping that their ordeal will end with the deadline. "We have heard a lot about the company chosen to carry out the work. It has already proved its worth in other parts of Benin and we hope that its know-how will quickly remove this thorn from our feet in order to enable the population to enjoy the benefits of a modern road," says the spokesman for the mayors.

At present there is an impressive deployment of personnel and equipment dedicated exclusively to the implementation of this fourth road project entrusted to EBOMAF in the country of King Behanzin. Under the maestria of its President and CEO (PDG), Mahamadou Bonkoungou, EBOMAF's expertise is eloquently expressed in West Africa. The human, material and technical means deployed for this international conquest maintain this saga constantly in Benin, Guinea-Conakry, Togo and soon in Côte d'Ivoire.
