EBOMAF-CI: President Alassane Ouattara inaugurates Ferkessédougou-Nassian-Kong Road

The city of Ferkessédougou, the capital of the Tchologo region, experienced a festive atmosphere on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at the official reception of the asphalt road which now connects it to the city of Kong via Nassian. This infrastructure, entirely built by EBOMAF, considerably de-enclaves a large part of the North-East of Côte d'Ivoire.

The Ferkessédougou-Nassian-Kong axis is now a modern road with Community standards. Built in one time two lanes over one hundred and twenty-one (121) kilometres, this important work took forty-two (42) months to finance eighty-two (82) billion CFA francs. Its inauguration mobilized the highest authorities of Côte d'Ivoire, led by President Alassane Ouattara. It is with joy that the Ivorian Head of State cut off the symbolic ribbon with his side, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the EBOMAF Group, Mahamadou Bonkoungou."I am pleased to proceed this day, at the inauguration of this beautiful road. It's a quality project. It is an infrastructure that I had promised to the people of Ferké and Kong since I was in business. So I am happy now that this is a reality. This saves a lot of road time. Instead of four hours' drive, it is now an hour and a half."President Alassane Ouattara was delighted.

The Ivorian Head of State was very admired by EBOMAF's excellent work, but he did not fail to point out the correctness of this company's choice to carry out the work and congratulate its President and Chief Executive Officer, Mahamadou Bonkoungou, on the quality of the work. He also recalled the socio-economic impact of the implementation of this road project on the Tchologo region.

" At the height of the investment, about 1,000 people worked on this site. This means that the construction of this infrastructure has generated jobs. This road will allow traffic flow and reduce accidents since it is practicable at any season », he added.

On these notes of general satisfaction, both for the contractor and for the successful contractor, the workers offered a crowd bath to their boss, Mahamadou Bonkoungou. In the margins of the inauguration of the Ferkessédougou-Nassian-Kong road, President Alassane Ouattara also welcomed the development, by EBOMAF, of the urban road of Sinematiali in the Poro region. Sign of the vitality of the partnership between the two parties, thirteen (13) additional kilometers of streets will still be covered by EBOMAF in the city of Sinematiali.
