Implementation of work in Togo: The unwavering concern for quality assurance

Not a step without the eyes of the public authorities. This spirit forges the conduct of the work entrusted to EBOMAF. As in Burkina Faso, the company gives itself the personal duty to surround itself with the assurance of unanimity around any progress of the construction site. Internally, it has a quality service and a laboratory that follows every millimeter of the specifications. The choice of materials and their characteristics require special attention. At EBOMAF, there is no error or negligence that is taking hold. The work is always carried out according to agreed standards with the donors and the Togolese government. This compass is kept permanently on all construction sites.

In Dapaong, Kara and Lomé, the guarantee of the quality of works animates workers. By using state-of-the-art technology, any activity on an axis is subject to total rigour. This guarantee of the work well done and within the required time has even pushed EBOMAF to work in perfect tandem with the monitoring and laboratory missions. "When one approaches a yard with all the precautions due to the work, peace and serenity settle. There is no reason to worry about anything or to be afraid of surveillance structures. In this respect, no reproach is enforceable against our society," says an EBOMAF technician in full operation.

In contrast to being a place of look in faience dogs, the sites under construction of EBOMAF are a privileged place where a duo between the company and the watchmaking structures is expressed. Their agents are admitted and accepted at all times, without any difficulty, on the construction sites. The emissaries of the control office, the GTAH/DECO group and those of the National Laboratory for Building and Public Works (LNBTP) are sometimes even confused with the employees of the company. "At this pace, EBOMAF will be more than timely. By the end of September, the entire construction site will be closed," said Kpatcha Bafei and Kossi, who are in charge of geotechnical control at LNBTP on 13-Janvier Boulevard. They explain that the foundation layer, grave bitumen and bituminous concrete are tested to ensure both the conformity of the materials at the sampling site and compliance with the measurements.

Their assessment is taken up by the representative of the GTAH/DECO group, Samiou Dermane. Responsible for monitoring and control, he shows an air of relief in the face of his task, which is eased by the dynamics of a company acting with full responsibility and conscience to deserve the trust placed in it. "Not to bother us, their presence allows us to go well and quickly to avoid unexpected descents often source of unnecessary misunderstanding. The machine goes in the direction that everyone wants," says the construction manager. Thus, everything is done according to the rules of art. This very beneficial partnership between stakeholders is once again being held in the Togolese BTP community as an example of a company whose main purpose is to take full responsibility for meeting the expectations of the state and its financial partners.
