Infrastructure of December 11 in Koudougou: EBOMAF deploys heavy artillery on the way to the parade
The Minister of Infrastructure and De-enclavement, Jean Bertin Ouédraogo, reviewed on Monday 4 June the infrastructure under construction in the town of Koudougou as part of the upcoming celebration of 11 December. Awardee of Lot 1, "Planning and bitumening of the parade axis", EBOMAF has been greatly launched. The aircraft stormed the wayway. In a few days, she'll have the image of a big boulevard.
Six (6) months before the national holiday was held on 11 December in the home town of President Maurice-Yaméogo, the construction of the related infrastructure was in full swing. An essential undertaking in the preparations for the festivities, EBOMAF has already attacked with serenity the realization of the section planned to house the parade. This lot 1 covers the development and bitumage of a journey of five (5) kilometres at a cost of CFAF 3.131 billion. It is a two-way, modern artery in the "Red Horseman" city. As usual, the CEO's company, Mahamadou Bonkoungou took the bulls by the horns by putting double bites from the start of the work.
At the national road 14, Koudougou-Dédougou, the axis of the parade is the object of all the attention of the government. On Monday, June 4, the Minister of Infrastructure and De-enclavement, Jean Bertin Ouédraogo, made a visit to ensure the effective start of this precious project for the commemoration of the national holiday. Because the parade marks the pinnacle of the demonstrations and it is necessary to surround the site for this purpose with all precautions. EBOMAF is proud of its fine achievements (airfields, parade lanes, villas) during the December 11 celebrations in Fada N的Gourma (2008), Ouahigouya (2009) and Bobo-Dioulasso (2010), and is still spreading its talents in public works in Koudougou. Although the work is currently in the backfilling stage, it must be recognized that the company in charge of the parade axis is already impressed by the quality of the material, technical and human resources which form the basis for the construction of this work.
The work of this work will be carried out in several stages. The preparatory phase concerns brush removal, stripping of plant soil, clearing, embankment and shaping. Another is the multi-layered surface of the pavement and a bi-layered surface. This will give way to the construction of reinforced concrete hoses and the installation of signs. All these developments are followed by social and environmental works (planting of alignment trees). The rate of execution of all of this work is currently estimated at 22% for a time spent of 43%. Had the public authorities been late in validating the files, the project would have started on 26 March.
However, Minister Jean Bertin Ouedraogo pleaded with the company for an acceleration of the work in order to have a satisfactory gain before any disruptions due to the rainy season. EBOMAF's patriotically acquiesced with a promise to redouble its efforts while hoping for a speedy resolution of the problem of disbursement of funds to which all companies in charge of infrastructure from December 11 to Kudougou are confronted. "If money falls in time, it will not be late."indicated a manager of the company.
To the difficulty associated with the availability of resources allocated to the works, the question of the relocation of the concessionaire networks (electricity, water, telephone) is added. It is a brake on the construction site. This has been served on the Minister for appropriate steps to be taken to remove this obstacle quickly. Jean Bertin Ouedraogo reassured that a diligent outcome will be found to satisfy the concerns raised here and there. In an effort to complete the procession of the parade axis by the deadline, on 26 April EBOMAF submitted a request for an advance payment of CFAF 939 351.544. During the visit, she asked for a strong involvement of the various directorates of the Ministry of Infrastructure and, above all, for the prompt payment of start-up advances.
