New Year's Message from Mahamadou Bonkoungou, CEO of the EBOMAF Group

The year 2011 which has just passed out in the meanderings of history has marked the internationalisation momentum, well thought out and brilliantly undertaken, of the EBOMAF Group. Thanks to the beautiful entrepreneurial spirit which all the employees have always been able to display with brilliance, this challenge is being won through the works well done for the happiness of the states of the sub-region and their respective populations.

The continuous performance of the various construction sites illustrates the real commitment of each other. They have consolidated the foundations of an African company, a model on all levels and competitive from a variety of backgrounds. The markets, obtained over the past year in Burkina Faso and Togo, are at the price of our expertise. This reflects a dynamic, professional and unanimous know-how. Neither the frights of globalization nor the national economic circumstances in our field of activity have shaken your sense of self-denial on all fronts.

While thanking all the workers for this saga, the hour is still in unison so that the torch of Burkinabe and African expertise, in Public Works (BTP) raised high in the sky of the continent, is a collective compass. The preservation of the achievements therefore depends on your probity and loyalty in order to face with serenity all adversity in 2012. The reputation and reputation that we enjoy imposes this saving sacrifice. That 2012 rid the staff and their respective families of worries of all orders and weapons of infallible courage to hold the common bet in perfect serenity.

Faced with the great challenges ahead, the Presidency-Directorate General will fully assume its responsibilities to further improve the working and living conditions of employees. The current course will be maintained despite the difficulties inherent in any human work. We endorse the managerial maxim that "Human relations are as important as the results we seek to achieve for our business". The reconciliation of physical, moral, spiritual, material, technical and financial satisfaction with the new directions will enrich the paths of our common adventure and fruitful collaboration, which have been established for more than two (2) decades.

2011 marked the closing of a number of works in Burkina Faso and Togo. 2012 will know the finish of construction sites, the accentuation of others and the opening of many more. The synergy observed in exemplary executions and significant market developments confirm our high profile in the conduct of business. The Group was convinced that it had the means of its expansion and growth policy. The will, without fail, to position itself as a leader in all fields of civil engineering with a view to printing giant steps, builds on this permanent culture of excellence. Hence this family engaged in the paths of the afro-optimism that we form: "EBOMAF is and remains the crucible of entrepreneurship with a human face, the crossroads of expertise and the showcase of excellence".

Our gratitude also goes to States and governments for their confidence in the ambitious markets they have entrusted to us. Our determination is perpetual to deserve this great mark of consideration. In the image of 2011 which has sufficiently exposed the guarantees of our good faith, this fruitful partnership cannot fail. We are therefore seeking a good understanding of the beneficiary populations in order to achieve these infrastructures in a concerted manner. The participation of the EBOMAF Group in strengthening the socio-economic base of countries where it enters into contracts is remarkable. In this context, he intends to work in good intelligence with his colleagues who work for healthy competition and thus give a better color to our participation in the progress of our nations.

The international reach of the EBOMAF Group is accompanied by the affirmation of its choice to promote "Corporate Social Responsibility" with a view to ensuring the fight against poverty.
