New markets: And EBOMAF conquered Equatorial Guinea!
The know-how of the Burkinabe Group, EBOMAF, is now displayed in Central Africa. As part of the growth and expansion of its activities, Mahamadou Bonkoungou's society has just signed an important contract in Equatorial Guinea for the construction of 1,000 high-end housing units.
EBOMAF is involved in the implementation of housing modernization policy in Equatorial Guinea. As part of the implementation of an ambitious programme launched in 2013 by the Government of Equatorial Guinea, it has just been granted the construction of 1,000 high-class villas in the new city of Djibloho. This new market, marking the conquest of Central Africa, is the result of proven expertise in the BTP sector in six West African countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Conakry, Liberia, Togo.
EBOMAF currently stands out as one of the leading African companies in the assembly, conduct and execution of projects funded under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The contract signed in Equatorial Guinea on 22 January 2019 is part of this dynamic of the President and CEO, Mahamadou Bonkoungou, to offer an innovative alternative of financing infrastructure projects to African countries. President Teodoro Obiang NGuema MBasogo welcomed his offer to mobilize the necessary means to support the Equatorial Guinea State in its development ambitions.
The EBOMAF Group CEO's stay in Malabo and Djibloho from 22 to 24 January was punctuated by high-level meetings. In addition to the hearing granted by the Head of State, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Infrastructure with five ministers and the Burkina Faso side. Departmental expectationsIndustry and Mines, Infrastructure-Urbanism and Habitat, Telecommunications and Transport, Livestock-Fisheries and Tradewere reviewed. "It is time for Africans to focus on rebuilding Africa. Our continent is full of enormous potential. Africa has men and women who can turn these resources into real wealth. As a major investor, EBOMAF is willing to support Equatorial Guinea in its development needs in fishing, transport, infrastructure, etc." said Mahamadou Bonkoungou, at his exit from the hearing.
Partnerships between the Equatorial Guinea State and the EBOMAF Group are envisaged for the implementation of projects in the following sectors: fisheries, transport and industry. The launching ramp city of EBOMAF in Equatorial Guinea, Djibloho is located on the mainland of the country. This city is considered the new economic capital. Indeed, it is a major crossroads serving the four major regions of the mainland: Bata, Mongomo, Evinayong and Ebebiyin.
