Recognition of the Nation: The CEO of the EBOMAF Group raised to the Dignity of Grand Officer of the Order of Etalon
The grateful Burkina Faso nation honoured one of its brightest businessmen on Friday, December 6, 2019. As part of the traditional decorations marking December 11th, the date of the national holiday, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the EBOMAF Group, Mahamadou Bonkoungou, was raised to the Dignity of Grand Officer of the Order of Etalon. This is a well-deserved reward for one of the most successful corporate captains in the country of "Integral Men" over the past decade. "I express my gratitude to the highest authorities in my country, first and foremost the President of Faso, who considered me worthy of this decoration. I greet him with humility. It is both a recognition of the work that has been destroyed and an invitation not to give up, to always work to move forward to take an active part in the progress of our dear homeland," said the happy recipient.

This distinction crowns the thirty (30) years of entrepreneurship of a self-made man whose success story represents a pride for all Burkinabe and the entire country. Founded on 6 September 1989 in Dédougou, Entreprise Bonkoungou Mahamadou & Fils (EBOMAF) is the flagship of Burkina Faso's know-how in the construction sector in several Central and West African countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Congo-Brazzaville, Guinea-Conakry, Guinea-Equatorial Guinea, Liberia, Togo.

Born on 23 May 1966 in Dédougou, at 53 years old, the President and Chief Executive Officer of EBOMAF, Mahamadou Bonkoungou, is today at the head of an eponymous economic and financial group whose activities cover several sectors: Insurance, Bank, BTP, Hotels, Real estate, Industry, Mines, Fisheries, Transport. His decoration at the Dignité de Grand Officier de l'Ordre de l'Etalon is timely to acknowledge his immense contribution to the socio-economic development of Africa in general and Burkina Faso in particular.
