International recognition: EBOMAF doubly distinguished in Niger and Senegal

Indeed, 2019, marking the 30th anniversary of the creation of EBOMAF, appears as the year of the crowns. Already won the trophy of the"South-South cooperation"awarded last March in Casablanca, Morocco, at the sixth Africa-Development International Forum, EBOMAF was honoured on 8 July in Niamey, Niger, with the"Afro-optimism Awardand July 9 in Dakar, Senegal, with a trophy"its invaluable efforts in favour of the Burkinabe and African economy".

These international recognitions reflect the place and role of Mahamadou Bonkoungou, President and Chief Executive Officer of the African continent, whose society was sacred in May 2015,"Burkina Faso and UEMOA's most dynamic construction company"by Ecofinance.

On the sidelines of the extraordinary African Union summit held in the Niger capital on Monday, 8 July 2019, the African Emergence Communication Group (GAEC) welcomed the merits of the President and CEO of the EBOMAF Group, Mahamadou Bonkoungou, in front of a crowd of politicians and businessmen from all over the continent. During a solemn ceremony, the Burkina Faso economic operator with multiple caps received the"Afro-optimism Award"for his faith in the progress of the continent, his immense contribution to development and the emulation of his success on all sides.

"Seeing an African like Mahamadou Bonkoungou excels in sharp areas, such as building bridges or operating a business company, is for us a great source of hope for an Africa capable of taking its own destiny and winning the bet of a bright future. This award of afro-optimism aims to highlight Africans, who, through their actions, give reason to believe in our continent.", explained Mohamed Nda, President of GAEC.

Welcoming this honour with humility, the recipient has translated the symbol of such a distinction into the entrepreneurial dynamic he intends to print to his company." In Dakar, Mahamadou Bonkoungou's distinction took place during a major economic event: the JPEC in Burkina Faso, Senegal. On this occasion, the CEO of the EBOMAF Group unanimously received, on 9 July 2019, the recognition of his peers for"its invaluable efforts in favour of the Burkinabe and African economy."

In the presence of the members of the Burkina Faso and Senegalese governments, the organizers attribute the following meaning to the trophy presented by the minister responsible for territorial administration, Simeon Sawadogo to the President and Chief Executive Officer of the EBOMAF Group: "It is a great baobab that represents the place and strength that EBOMAF and its President and CEO in the business world in our country and on the continent".
