TOP 100 of the most dynamic companies: EBOMAS dominates the BTP sector in Burkina Faso and UEMOA

After Senegal and Mali, Eco Finance Entreprise continues to gauge the performance of companies in each UEMOA country. The Burkina Faso stage, which involved thirteen (13) sectors of activity, experienced the double consecration of Enterprise Bonkoungou Mahamadou & Fils (EBOMAF) by positioning itself as a leader in the sector, both nationally and sub-regionally in the construction sector.

After Burkina Faso, where it has played a major part in the development of infrastructure in its home country, the internationalisation of EBOMAF has been shown with eloquence in Benin, Ivory Coast, Guinea-Conakry and Togo. This exceptional entrepreneurial saga, maintained by the leadership of the President and CEO (PDG), Mahamadou Bonkoungou and the know-how of his company, has beenunanimously rewarded by two palm trees marking his dynamism in Burkina Faso and in the UEMOA space in the construction sector.

EBOMAF now appears to be an expression of the vitality of the main players in the Burkinabe and sub-regional economy. Four (4) criteria distinguished the different actors in the business community: company expertise, innovation capacity, market penetration capacity, and the impact of activity on the economy.

A group of experts based on official data collected from the public administration and within companies and on a confrontation of activities on the ground. The Burkina Faso stage was completed on Saturday 16 May in the sumptuous setting of the hotel LAICO Ouaga-2000 in the presence of the President of Faso, Michel Kafando, the Prime Minister, Yacouba Isaac Zida, several members of the government, the Guinean Minister of Public Works and Transport, Mohamed Traoré, representatives of diplomatic missions such as the ambassadors of Algeria, Japan, Senegal and international organizations such as UNDP, the AfDB, the AfDB, UEMOA. Not to mention the great cream of the "creators of riches" that are businessmen. "The government will make every effort to support the involvement of the business community in the construction of the national work," said Daouda Traoré, Burkina Faso's Minister of Infrastructure, De-enclavement and Transport.

A road industry shared between performance and innovation

The two five- and ten-minute videos on EBOMAF's achievements in the countries where it is based, as well as its human, material and technical capabilities, convinced the company's position as a leader in the ranking of the ‘100 most dynamic companies in Burkina Faso and the UEMOA area'. "In addition to hiring a good part of the population of the countries where we live, EBOMAF employs more than one thousand and two hundred (1,200) Burkinabe on all its construction sites in the subregion. The Guinean Minister of Public Works and Transport, Mohamed Traoré, rightly paid a warm tribute to EBOMAF, whose work sites in Guinea-Conakry were maintained at a time when most of the successful companies deserted the country because of the Ebola virus epidemic.
