Basic social services: Eleven boreholes and six water reservoirs between Dapaong-Ponio

The Dapaong-Ponio road does not strike in the eye only by its beauty. The successful company also left its mark on basic social services. The riparian populations were provided with drilling and water retention to improve their living conditions.

Throughout the stretch, EBOMAF's activities did not obscure this for well-being:"Water is life."From Dapaong to Ponio, the coastal villages received either a drilling or a water reservoir. While the first service seeks to quench the thirst of people who often face difficulties in supplying blue gold, the second is aimed at combating poverty by giving them the means to increase productivity. Eleven (11) boreholes were erected in Korbongo (Momba and Bonsongué), Toaga, Tolonkartiga II, Tolonkatuga I, Nadougou (Kpalthial), Tambonga (Nakpiel), Naloate (Nakodougou), Tambonga (Nadano), Dapaong (CEG Nassablé), Kantindi (Mambonga). Six (6) water reservoirs (3 new and 3 rehabilitated) were built in Dapaong (2), Ponio, Nakodougou, Korbongou (2).

In Naloate and elsewhere, people unanimously welcome the choice of their village to benefit from a manual pump. The provision of drinking water to the population and the promotion of vegetable farming were also essential parts of this road project, which took thirty-eight (38) kilometres. These two components were carried out by subcontractors under the supervision of the technicians of the successful contractor. They were also realized by master hand as the main work, the road itself.
