EBOMAF at work in Lomé: Even with the rain, work continues

The Togolese capital, Lomé, woke up on Saturday, May 21, 2011 with a torrential rain just like the previous two days. These large water trombs, which were quickly believed to be able to block the rehabilitation work of the boulevard du 13-Janvier and that of Adidogomé (Military Camp)-Agoényivé (BKS football pitch), were admirably tamed by the EBOMAF group, which continued to build the structure as if nothing had happened.

Thanks to its technical team, the EBOMAF Group stands as a buffalo in public works to boost the rehabilitation work of the boulevard du 13-Janvier. Without experiencing any sign of hindsight, his heavy material amazes the Togolese and reassures him of his ability to hold such a work. The section linking the "Festival des Glaces" with the "Byblos" nightclub, 700 metres long, has already been completed. This prowess that even the rain cannot stop is based on an extraordinary technical and material mobilization.

Very predictable in this rainy season, starting at 6 a.m., the company makes every effort not to fall in front of the climatic hazards that the Togolese capital knows. She deploys her teams on two fronts.

With very sophisticated materials, workers have only one slogan: to move the work forward according to the standards prescribed in the specifications. On 21 May 2011, the Minister responsible for Public Works, Andjo Tchandja, was pleased to see the progress of the project. He let the mine of his face run free to express his wonder.

With passion and know-how, engineers, technicians and workers lead, with the ability of the machines, days and nights towards a single goal: to offer Lomé its most beautiful artery in a few months. In the face of ardour at work, authorities, residents and residents of the capital agree that EBOMAF will finish the work entrusted to it in time. "Here we don't have fun, my brother, there's everything we need to move the job forward.

For our part, we must not work with nonchalance, especially as the pay is much better than the other companies in which I had to work before. We are ready to work even in the rain because the means and comfort of EBOMAF lends it," stresses Kokou Komlan, crane driver on the site on 13-Janvier Boulevard.

This determination is constantly increasing at the site subject to regular inspection by technicians from the works manager. The Senior Controller, Mr. Kéita, reassured him that the company's quality standards for measuring materials and maintaining plans were met. He insisted on the quality of the overall work cut down mainly in the leveling of the deviations planned to start the second round of the work from the "Byblos" nightclub to the rue François Mitterrand 500 meters away. Three detours parallel to Boulevard 13 January will be built there: two to the north (the Anamagne and Caïcedrats streets in the Souzanetimé district), and another to the south (Rue des Palounis in the Beniglato district).
