EBOMAF-BF: Preliminary work on the bypass motorway goes well

EBOMAF is already in operation with great human, material and technical resources deployed throughout the development and pitting of the North-South bypass motorway of the city of Ouagadougou. Bulldozers and graders stormed the section to clear the right-of-way.

The route of the North-South bypass highway of the Burkinabe capital is gradually taking shape. The beginning of February 2019 saw a strong mobilization of staff and equipment. Under the leadership of its first manager, Mahamadou Bonkoungou, EBOMAF puts the double bites to win, once again, the challenge of implementing the largest road project in Burkina Faso's history. His trips are frequent in the field to ensure the proper conduct of the work.

During the fourth review of the construction site, on February 2 and 3, the CEO and a large delegation including all the company's stakeholders at the construction site imbued themselves with the delimitation of the right-of-way, the topographical surveys and the question of compensation. They left RN 22 in Pabré at the junction of Loumbila on RN 4, then RN 4 at RN3 in Koubri. The large life bases are already built. The technicians are on foot for the installation of concrete and coated power plants.

During its various stops, Mahamadou Bonkoungou insisted on the stakes of this infrastructure both for the Burkina Faso government and for the reputation of its company. Faced with enthusiasm, the CEO expressed his wish to see the work carried out properly through frank cooperation between employers and employees. Drivers and terrasses were encouraged. He recalled the need for regular maintenance of the machines.

In the face of the riparian populations whose concessions and enclosures are subject to compensation, the CEO of the EBOMAF Group has been very attentive to the various complaints. He suggested ways of addressing the concerns raised. Through the work of circumvention, Mahamadou Bonkoungou intends to consolidate his relations between the beneficiary populations and EBOMAF by affirming further his Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)." Time is no longer to be delayed. It's time to step forward. The execution files are being validated. We need to concentrate to finish the preliminary work quickly."concluded, Mahamadou Boukoungou, at the end of his visit.

Launched on October 30, 2018, the works of the North-South bypass boulevard of the city of Ouagadougou will help to fluidize the traffic inside the capital which regularly suffers from large traffic jams due to the large equipment coming from Benin, Togo, Ghana and the Ivory Coast.
