EBOMAF-BF : A market of 181 billion CFA francs for a return in force

EBOMAF signs his great return to Burkina Faso. The Council of Ministers on 8 June allocated work to bypass the city of Ouagadougou. This auction results from the successful negotiations between the Burkinabe State and EBOMAF announced by the Council of Ministers on 14 December 2017.

The National Economic and Social Development Plan (NESDP) is a key partner in the execution of major projects in Africa.: Company Bonkoungou Mahamadou & Fils (EBOMAF). This leading BTP company in more than five West African countries will lead one of Burkina Faso's flagship road infrastructure projects:construction and bitumening of Ouagadougou Peripheral Boulevard.At an overall cost of 180 million CFA francs (181), the development and tumbling project of the peripheral circular boulevard of the Burkina Faso capital will be implemented by EBOMAF. Confirmation of the award of this ambitious contract took place during the meeting of the Council of Ministers on Friday 8 June 2018. The infrastructure, which will belt the city of Ouagadougou, covers a linear length of one hundred and twenty-five (125) kilometres.

"As part of the revitalization of sectors which are conducive to the economy and employment, on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Council agreed to award the contract to the company Bonkoungou Mahamadou et Fils (EBOMAF) for the construction and bitumage of 125 km of road and to the company Civil Engineering Transport Hydraulic Development (GTAH-Ingénieurs Conseils) for the follow-up-counsel, for a total amount of one hundred and eighty-one billion sixty-eight million three hundred forty-one thousand two hundred and eighteen (181,068,341,218) CFA F, excluding Customs. The duration of the contract is 36 (36) months »states the report of the Council of Ministers.

This decision of the Government of Burkina Faso follows the adoption of"a report approving the proposal for a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) relating to the project of construction and bitumening of the Peripheral Boulevard of the city of Ouagadougou (North and South bypass) through the direct agreement procedure".It marks the conclusion of the discussions between the Burkina Faso State and EBOMAF, the finalisation of which was recommended by the Council of Ministers on 14 December 2017:"A report on the proposal for a public private partnership in the framework of the Project of construction and bitumening of the Peripheral Boulevard of the City of Ouagadougou (North and South bypass road, a 125 km linear) through the direct agreement procedure. The Council agreed to finalize the discussions with EBOMAF SA."

Through this market, EBOMAF signs its great return to Burkina Faso, its country of origin, which it has already brilliantly marked with its footprint certain infrastructures: the development of the Zone des activités commerciales et administratifs (ZACA), extension of the boulevard des Tensoba, bitumage of the Koudougou-Dédougou road, etc.
