EBOMAS-BTP: Rudolf Muller, Director of Materials and Logistics: "Our work is done with the latest generation of equipment"

Rudolf Muller, as the manager of the equipment fleet, is responsible for the equipment on the various construction sites. This mechanical engineer specializes in logistics, which lasts decades of trade in the automotive industry and maintenance, and looks after the renewal and strengthening of the material and technical capabilities of EBOMAF. For this privileged witness of the armada of the P-DG Mahamadou Bonkoungou company, the strike force of this West African leader of the BTP results from the use of new and latest generation equipment.

• What is the place of EBOMAF's investment in equipment?

Rudolf Muller: It's no exaggeration to say that EBOMAF's saga in the field of major works in West Africa is partly based on its equipment. EBOMAF understood very early on that material capabilities are largely responsible for the efficiency, performance, efficiency and quality of a company's achievements. EBOMAF has been referring for many years to world manufacturers of large-scale machinery. It regularly benefits from the partnership and assistance of the latter for maintenance and spare parts. Under the vision of its first manager, P-DG Mahamadou Bonkoungou, an ambitious equipment programme was developed to acquire the most modern equipment annually in the BTP. We currently have only new and latest generation equipment. This asset allows EBOMAF to perform specific work that other companies are unable to shoot because they do not have the necessary equipment. In our society, a number of tasks are performed directly by machines instead of labour. This is a definite advantage for the quality and timing of the work. For example, the spreaders we have just acquired are a great revolution in road construction in West Africa. Few companies can boast of owning this innovative machine in the preparation of cement floor which is transported in bulk on the construction site from the cement plant with tanks called bananas with a capacity of forty (40) tonnes. The spreaders allow the cement to be applied with never equal precision. It's just a sailing corner. This quest for modernity and excellence applies to other civil engineering activities. The modernity of EBOMAF's hardware fleet is consistent.

• Can we have an idea of the material and technical capabilities of EBOMAF on its various construction sites?

MULLER IEBOMAF is now one of the few independent and technically independent companies in the subregion. Its stock is abundant and all our construction sites are carried out with latest generation equipment. Newness is our rule. This can be seen through the equipment of several hundred dump trucks, trays and tanks as well as Caterpillar machines. To these capacities are added the specific machines for grinding, drilling, secondary, primary and also crushers. At the level of the technical installations, there are also concrete plants for the various structures requiring concrete; plants for the manufacture and application of bitumen. Efforts are being made to achieve the material and technical autonomy of each site. Today, EBOMAF has several concrete and coated power plants, as well as quarries crushers, HP 200 machines and Loco-traque machines. Its all-new acquisition is the mould to prefabricate all forms of structures requiring concrete such as bridges, dalots and cantilevers. To do this, three (03) workshops are being set up with mussels. Heavy investments and state-of-the-art equipment make it possible to distinguish themselves from others.

• What exceptional machines have been acquired recently by EBOMAF?

MULLER IIIAs I argued, the acquisition of last generation equipment is a constant within our society. Each year there is a lot of new products, i.e. endowments designed to promote innovation, performance and quality, the most recent of which are the cement tanks and spreaders mainly dedicated to cement work. The spreader is directly filled by cement blowing. We no longer need to lift the cement bags. This task falls exclusively to the machine. In the case of prefabrication moulds, they allow faster progress in the manufacture of hoses, beams, beams, bridges and dalots.

• After your long experience in BTP in Europe and Africa, what judgment do you have on EBOMAF's material and technical capabilities?

After all I could observe and see here and there, EBOMAF appears to me as one of the first if not the largest BTP company I know in West Africa that has as many equipment. All of the construction sites in Benin, Ivory Coast, Guinea-Conakry and Togo reflect this major asset: EBOMAF materially and technically autonomous. It is capable of performing any civil engineering task by relying on its own strengths in terms of performance, efficiency, efficiency, innovation and quality.
