EBOMAF-BURKINA FASO : Koudu-Dédougou obtains the satisfaction of the Provisional Receiving Commission
The reception of the Koudougou-Dédougou road took place on Thursday, 16 October 2014. A commission of about a dozen people reviewed this one-hundred-thirty (130) kilometres long infrastructure, which has been completed for a year. Pending the final approval stage, this final phase was carried out smoothly: no imperfection was noted in connection with a failure of the specifications.
For about a year now, the Koudougou-Dédougou road has been fully open to traffic and effectively supports a large part of the intense traffic between Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso. It greatly helps to curb the inconvenience caused by the current rehabilitation of the RN1 on the Koudougou-Boromo Carrefour portion. This alone demonstrates the quality of this infrastructure, built with an expert hand by EBOMAF. This path has now officially obtained the satisfaction of the Burkina Faso government. A Provisional Receipt Board received the work."After the site visit, the Commission found that the work was completed and carried out in accordance with the technical requirements. Accordingly, it hereby gives provisional approval today, 16 October 2014', she unanimously concluded.
Assisted in this operation by the Technical Director of EBOMAF, Arouna Mouhamed and a delegate of the control mission, Cincat International, the other members of the Commission from various ministries (Economy and Finance, Infrastructure, Unlocking and Transport, ...) have carefully re-assembled the process of construction and bitumening of the one hundred-thirst (130) kilometres crossing the regions of the West Centre and the Mouhoun Loop to ensure that the undertaking engaged in the work has complied with all the terms of the contract.
One‘without fault'on a major road infrastructure
Among other things, the Commission's focus was on roadways, dalots and girders, large bridges (Ténado, Mouhoun, Lanfiera) and signs. During its visit, the Commission in charge of provisional reception did not make any comments. From end to end, EBOMAF led the project with its traditionally recognized human, material and technical capabilities. The work was carried out with know-how and excellence, and even with an unprecedented expertise in major works in Burkina Faso.
From PK 130 (Koudougou) to PK 00 (Dédougou), the infrastructure was revisited from bottom to bottom. Particular attention was paid to the various civil engineering activities and the associated tasks.
They were all considered technically compliant. Object of the Market N°30/00/04/02/00-20-22-23-25-26/2010/0036 of 12 July 2010 and its amendments N°01 and 02, the project of construction and bitumening of the national road N°14 between Koudougou and Dédougou were awarded in July 2010 after an open international tender won by the group EBOMAF SA/KARA Establishment. The site actually started in the first quarter of the same year for an initial period of thirty (30) months. He will benefit from a five (5) month extension. In the end, the road project of the Koudougou-Dédougou road was carried out for an amount of 28.960 billion CFA francs HT-HD or 36,400 billion CFA francs TTC for a total period of 35 months.
Since November 2013, the Koudougou-Dédougou road is fully open to traffic. Built in two layers according to the gravillage system, this road offers all the amenities of a modern road infrastructure meeting the Community standards laid down by the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU). Its final acceptance is announced by October 15, 2015.
