EBOMAF-CI: Launch of the Bouaké road - Satama-Sokoro
Within the framework of the social programme of the government (Ps-Gouv), the state of Côte d'Ivoire relies heavily on the construction of road infrastructure. Taking advantage of his state visit to the Hambol region (North Central), the President of the Republic Alassane Ouattara made a 30-minute stopover in Satama-Sokoro, in the Djamala country in the Dabakala department for the first shovel of the road that will link this small little town with the big city of Bouaké, capital of the Gbêkê region in the Baoulé country.
The ceremony of a few minutes brought together beautiful people under a sun of lead. The work on this road was entrusted to the Company Bonkoungou Mahamadou et Fils (EBOMAF). The heads of the successful company, with CEO Mahamadou Bonkoungou at the forefront, were alongside the head of State of Côte d'Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara, for the launch of the work on Friday 29th November in Satama-Sokoro. On occasion, the technicians in charge of the project explained the technical characteristics of the project. The new road to bitumen is 84 km long and will cost the Ivorian State approximately seventy-three(73)billion CFA francs. The work will last 36 months.

The people expressed their joy through dancing and singing at the announcement of this good news. Young people in the locality see it as a new job opportunity. "If the work starts, I quit my job as a taxi driver in Bouaké to come to work on the construction site of my village," said a young national with whom we travelled to Satama.

This road, which connects Bouaké to the eastern part of Côte d'Ivoire, if it was entirely completed up to Bondoukou in the coming years, would save a huge amount of time to reach Bouaké in the eastern part of the country, even Ghana. But already, thanks to the state of Côte d'Ivoire and Ebomaf, it is a great glimmer of hope that points with the bitumen of part of this section.
