EBOMAF-CI: Korhogo-Karakoro Airport closure in focus

The inhabitants of Karakoro and the passengers of Air Côte D EBOMAF has released the big game so that the layout and bitumen of the fifteen kilometers of the section Korhogo-Karakoro-Airport Stadium are effective in the coming weeks.

As of 20 November 2016, the rate of advancement of the Korhogo-Karakoro Airport Stadium is over 70%. With very convincing indicators: 100% site installation, 100% right-of-way clearance, 100% earthworks as well.

The roadway and foundation layer are finished and there is only one kilometre left for the empro-base. The stabilization of the base layer is at 2/3 of the project, not to mention that of the airport shoulder which is completed. The impregnation and application of bituminous concrete (BB) will sequence simultaneously.

The 14.813 km development and bitumage project is divided into two: the main road from Korhogo Stadium to Karakoro for 12,950 km and the ramp at the airport for 1,863 km.

EBOMAF-CI's technical management plans to quickly complete the surface marking the completion of this infrastructure so that the team currently working on Korhogo can be deployed on Ferké-Nassian-Kong to open a third front from Sikolo.
