EBOMAF-CI: Korhogo and San Pedro terminal sites completed
The delivery of the Korhogo and San Pedro terminals is only a matter of days. One thing is certain and certain, it will take place on a timely basis within the contractual deadlines.

Trusted to the West African BTP giant, EBOMAF, as part of the organization of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) which will take place from 13 January to 11 February 2024 in Côte d'Ivoire, the construction of these two airport facilities was led by the President and Chief Executive Officer Mahamadou Bonkoungou in person. Double bites have been put at all levels of the construction sites to respond diligently to government expectations.

The week is dedicated to the last blows of hammer and brush. EBOMAF can just boast of having marked these two major infrastructures with its expertise in airport work. The equipment under customs whose delivery had an impact on the final tasks of the various works could be removed from the port of Abidjan to immediately take the direction of Korhogo and San Pedro. This unlocking gave the works a real boost.

These include office furniture, household appliances, scanners and other treadmills that are removed directly from the factory in Europe and Asia. These are state-of-the-art equipment designed to bring the Korhogo and San Pedro terminals to international standards.

In addition to the airport terminal work, EBOMAF is also responsible for the installation of technical air navigation equipment and the renovation of airstrips as well as the construction of a fence throughout the airport perimeter, the development of parking facilities and the airport roads. All these tasks were completed according to the specifications. The Minister of Transport, Amadou Koné, who has conducted at least three visits to the said yards has constantly expressed the satisfaction of the Ivorian government for the perfect control and good conduct of the works.

He surrounded himself at one of his field trips, Friday, December 22, 2023, by Prime Minister Beugré Mambé in Korhogo to better appreciate the facilities in the phase of completion. While waiting for their official openings, the two terminals are already functional to the delight of air travellers. Aircraft land using the new Il/Dme equipment. It is therefore another bet won by EBOMAF in Ivorian land. Its footprint on the modernisation of Korhogo and San Pedro airports reinforces its expertise and expertise in this area.
