EBOMAF-TOGO: The resumption of Pya-Sarakawa-Kanté works revives the flame of hope
The inhabitants of the Kara region in general and the users of the Pya-Sarakawa-Kanté section in particular, unanimously welcome the resumption of the 65 km construction site. "I am a beekeeper and I look forward to the completion of this project because traffic will increase and my activities will benefit. I'm happy with the resumption of work," said Chawo, a beekeeper in Tchoré.

Since the re-launch of the construction site, a large team and impressive equipment deployed on the site are advancing very quickly for the section. Indeed, the Carrefour Pya-Sarakawa-Kanté axis, a colonial road, must reduce traffic congestion between Pya and Kanté in order to promote an important traffic flow that will eventually boost the region's economy.
It is a 65 km road that will be built and built in a carriageway of 11 meters wide in agglomeration and 9 meters in the countryside. Within a few months, traffic will be more comfortable on this axis for large carriers who can easily bypass the mountain ranges of Defalé. In addition to a few straps and schools, drilling is planned for this project.

The cement floor is already announced and the laying of the serious bitumen (GB) is expected from Sarakawa village. The platform and Dalots have already reached about 99% completion rates. More than 11km of hoses will also be built to protect the road in its duration and meet UEMOA standards.
