Launched on 17 July 2020 for a period of 36 months, the construction of the national road N°5 Lomé Kpalimé already has an implementation rate of 16% for a period consumed of 13%. This prowess has been hailed by the Prime Minister, Victoire Tomegah Dogbe, whose government pays special attention to the implementation of this 120 km road project.
Through a visit guided by the President and Chief Executive Officer of the EBOMAF Group, Mahamadou Bonkoungou, an important ministerial delegation reviewed the work. Throughout the course, from the city centre Todman (PK 00), Bagbé's life base 4, he took care, with the assistance of the project's technical director, Arouna Mohamed, to give the details and the specifics of the project.
The impressive progress of work on the first ten (10) kilometres did not leave the Prime Minister indifferent. The operational capacity of the successful contractor is again a source of admiration. "EBOMAF has mobilized the means to speed up work on the project. Having seen the technical capacity shown by society, we are convinced that within a few weeks there will be a part of the road on the first 10 kilometers that will be liberated to facilitate the free movement of people," said Victoire Dogbe, Prime Minister.
While thanking the Togolese authorities for the renewed confidence in the award of this important project in Togo's National Development Plan (PND), Mahammadou Bonkoungou once again called for the collaboration of public structures for the proper execution of the work. He also reassured the Head of Government and his delegation of the timely implementation of the project. "The relocation of networks slows down work but we work with our partners such as TdE, TogoCom, CEET to remove obstacles. Even taking climate hazards into account, we intend to work with and be on schedule for the project," he said.
The Togolese Prime Minister, a craftsman for the promotion of the girl child, did not fail to congratulate EBOMAF on the development of women's skills. "On the Lomé-Kpalimé site, the company recruited and trained young ladies who are in rather complex positions.
We invite the companies of the place to do the same so that with equal competence we give the young girls the chance to be able to value themselves," argued Victoire Dogbe. This palpable reality on the ground is based on the will of CEO Mahamadou Bonkoungou to enable women to participate in Africa's development.
