EBOMAF-TOGO: Academic output of ESA students at Lomé-Kpalimé

The vests, the helmets of construction sites and the uniform of the students in civil engineering changed the colours of the construction site, Thursday 11 March 2021. In fact, the Higher School of Business (ESA) carried out a visit to the Lomé-Kpalimé yard during the execution by EBOMAS.

Guided by the managers of the company and supervised by the trainers of this institution, this highly academic exit was appreciated by the students at its fair value.

Future engineers in civil engineering, students of the Higher School of Business (ESA) in Lomé, confronted the courses received in the classrooms with the reality of the field. And it was the Lomé-Kpalimé construction site that EBOMAF was responsible for offering this springboard to combine theory with practice.

In the real situation of implementing a major road project, the learners have imbued themselves with the human, material and technical capacities deployed to carry out the work in accordance with the quality standards and within the deadlines set. Together with EBOMAF managers, the future engineers discovered the Lomé-Kpalimé yard and the various production sites associated with it. The company which has made the continuous training of its agents its battlehorse does not squander on the means to offer a gain of know-how around the construction of the works.

Since the beginning of the project in Todman, PK 00, at Badja's career where the crashes are produced, the students have reviewed all the key locations of the project. It was the director of the works in person, Arouna Mohamed, who kept students curious throughout the course. From the start, he gave a total briefing on all aspects of the reconstruction of the Lomé-Kpalimé road. At the concrete, coated and other materials production sites, such as hoses, ESA students were able to observe the equipment mobilized and the continuous movement of technicians to drive the yard night and day.

To the question of why this choice on the Lomé Kpalimé project, The Director of Studies of ESA indicated that this is one of the few road projects in Togo whose execution makes for admiration because it channels all the prowess in civil engineering. This perception is justified through the mobilization of equipment and the rapidity of activities.

This academic release allowed EBOMAF to satisfy the curiosity students and share various experiences with them. the realities of the field. This ESA visit comes after that of the national order of engineers of Togo (ILO) which took place two weeks earlier. In the course of its execution, the Lomé-Kpalimé yard attracts all attention.
