Finishing of the Bd Agoè-BKS-Limousine-Adidogomè: Lomé crosses 2011 on a beautiful artery

Thanks to the rehabilitative work carried out on Boulevard Agoè-BKS-Limousine-Adidogomé in the Togolese capital by the EBOMAF Group, riparian and usher populations can now face the spectre of insecurity. This urban road gait has driven away the robberies and other inconveniences related to day and night traffic. Surging and exaltation were everywhere to honour this masterpiece in public works.

Like the inhabitants of the Boucle du Mouhoun region in Burkina Faso, who were given a 20-kilometre bonus at the end of the year as part of the 30-month round of the RN 14, the population of Lomé in Togo was honoured, at the same time, with all the amenities (floors, hoses, lighting, paved) on the Bd Agoè-BKS-Limousine-Adidogomè, one of its most beautiful and main arteries. The realization of the Round-point Totsi at the Limousine crossroads determines the current diligence observed in the rehabilitation of this so important artery of the Togolese capital, launched in late January 2011. A few days from the new year, the infrastructure stands majestically ready to over 80% to make the festival of residents and users more enjoyable. The company in charge of the works, EBOMAF, has fulfilled its commitments and kept all its promises.

The beauty of the work has made it possible for the inhabitants of the popular districts of Agoè, BKS, Limousine and Adidogomè, whose living environment now enjoys very modern ways and networks. The drainage of sewage and rainwater and the construction of the road in durable materials enhance mobility, housing and business in this part of Lomé."In any case, this crossroads will be very well animated. Already, the clientele is more flourishing than before. The dust and chicken nests sprinkled there and there, forced road users to pass in front of my workplace and it was very dangerous for my apprentices, my clients and myself. Now see it yourself: EBOMAF has placed borders there and my site is well protected. It goes without saying that my turnover will feel that way."is delighted the tenancier of a sewing workshop.

Darkness and narrowness will no longer cause disorder and desolation in urban areas. The track that ran through the areas crossed by the rehabilitated section has been transformed into a boulevard worthy of an expanding capital. The beneficiary sites and their surroundings have thus returned to the era of urban modernity. These criminogenic areas were dusted from their unsafeness and gangster niches. Adidogomé, Totsi, Limousine, Reserve Cameleon, Agoè, BKS have taken a new look."I saw wounded and stabbed colleagues, motorcycles ripped off, houses and cars on this road. But since EBOMAF began the work of the boulevard and especially with the completion of this roundabout, it is no longer known as a robbery or flight. The crime rate is falling considerably."painfully remembers Mazamaesso Atam, a motorcycle taxi driver for ten (10) years in Lomé.

Step by step towards meeting the deadline

The installation of the bituminous concrete in Totsi and the pavements in Djijole has a high degree of effectiveness. At more than 80% of the construction site's rate of progress, construction requirements have already swallowed more than 90 thousand (90,000) tonnes of bituminous concrete (BB) and triple in untreated gravel (GNT). With the continuous installation of streetlights up to the Caméléon junction (present end of the tar), EBOMAF gives full assurance that the new blocks will be implemented to complete this project within the time required by the construction control.

The construction site of the National Road 5 (Bd Agoè-BKS-Limousine-Adidogomè) as well as that of the Bd du 13-Janvier were simultaneously executed with all the technical and material aspects due, by the Burkinabe civil engineering giant. His strike force is still enriched. EBOMAF has again expressed its brilliance in works of vital importance. With the Totsi roundabout, Lomé carries a new gallon in terms of improving its urbanity, initiated by President Faure Gnassingbé and his government. The pessimism maintained, until then during the implementation of the Project, at the expense of the authorities and the contracting firm has reasonably passed away."To go forward to Adidogomé, all the residents of Agoè and Agbalapedo (two large districts on the northern periphery of Lomé) had to follow a contour and pass through Attikoumé. This made the journey very long and difficult for road users. Floods that also forced people to clear their way are now part of history. Soon, the university bus will pass through this new road", says Moutaka, a student in Natural Science at the University of Lomé.

At two (2) months after the expiry of the deadline, the company has already entered the cleaning phase. That a company completes road works of this size before the allotted time is increasingly very rare in the world of construction in Africa. The presence of EBOMAF on several fronts in the sub-region did little to undermine its dynamism in building modern roads to international standards and providing countries with reliable development infrastructure. She continues to marvel from various backgrounds with her professionalism and expertise. In all honesty, Togolese people resolved to marry their‘roads of excellence'the quality of the work, the competence of the staff and the viability of the equipment highlighted. At the Limousine crossroads, on the northern periphery of Lomé, satisfaction is general at the end of the year.
