Corporate social responsibility: Sanogo and Koussoubé receive their master's check at CESAG

Promised, something due. The first two EBOMAF scholarship recipients received the latest funding. Joined last year at the Centre africaine d'études en gestion (CESAG) in Dakar, Senegal, these two former students of the University of Ouagadougou will be able to complete a thorough training in human resources and finance thanks to the support of a private company. Which is very rare on the continent.

The dream of Souleymane Sanogo and Joseph Koussoubé now depends on them. As last year, these two former students in Sociology and Economics at the University of Ouagadougou have just returned, Friday, October 12, in possession of their cheque to complete their studies at the African Management Centre (CESAG) in Dakar, Senegal. Enlisted respectively in Professional Masters of Management Sciences (MPSG), Human Resources and Accounting and Financial Management option, Souleymane Sanogo and Golomani Joseph Marie Koussoubé will complete their studies with the financial support of EBOMAF.

In response to his company's social responsibility (SSR), the CEO, Mahamadou Bonkoungou kept his promise last year:"If my business knows the same performance, I will renew my support for you."This sincerity and parental fidelity have further guided his action. Last year, a total of 11 million nine hundred thousand (11,900,000) CFA francs were allocated to the first two beneficiaries of the EBOMAF grant. For the academic year 2012-2013, each received a cheque worth five million six hundred and twenty-five thousand (5,625,000) CFAF. This amount represents tuition, subsistence, insurance and transportation costs and internship reports for the second year. For Souleymane Sanogo, a student in Professional Master of Management Sciences (MPSG), an option Human Resources, it is a real pleasure to get what they have requested entirely.

He said that beyond this support, their families will reap the benefits. Like his comrade Joseph Marie Golomani Koussoubé, a master's student in Accounting and Financial Management, he wishes Godbless their benefactor and assist in all his activities. The two beneficiaries recall that there is only EBOMAF that stands out in corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Burkina Faso at the time this has become an imperative all over the world. They hope that this dimension, which is very rare in Africa, will contribute to its visibility. "Let the company have a look at its supporters. This will enhance his image. We believe that we have used the funds wisely by generating results."suggest both Souleymane Sanogo and Joseph Marie Golomani Koussoubé.

Their training at CESAG, which spans two (2) firm years, is at its final stage. Each year covers nine (9) months of theoretical studies and three (3) months of in-company placement."As in your first year, please use this endowment wisely to give full satisfaction to the donor and your respective families.", wished Seni Tapsoba, Chief Accounting Officer of EBOMAF, representing the CEO.

The day after the delivery of the cheques representing the second part of the scholarships, on Saturday 13 October, the two happy residents of CESAG will fly to Dakar. Established in the Gibraltar neighbourhood, they look forward to the future with serenity as these two elders of the University of Ouagadougou have always dreamed of going back to a vocational school and approaching the future with serenity.

CESAG is an elite school opened by the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO). Most students have the ambition to carry out advanced studies, the end of which is crowned by a good career."In addition to personal thanks, there are those of our families who have the ambition to see their children succeed. The CEO has the blessings of our parents. Each is a scale for the other and EBOMAF represents a citizen company in Burkina Faso in view of the assistance it brings us in our studies",sums up Joseph Marie Golomani Koussoubé. While promising to make good use of the resources at their disposal, the first EBOMAF scholarship recipients promise to be among the best CESAG students and invite their donor to follow their steps to ensure full awareness of the aid received.
