Related Road Work Activities: Undoubted know-how in career development
EBOMAF is illustrated in the roadworks by a perfect mastery of the related activities that contribute to the normal execution of the road project. Career development is evidence of some of his expertise in the construction industry.
A road project cannot carry out properly without the products. As soon as EBOMAF entered engineering, it provided the means to build expertise in all activities of the BTP, including quarries. These sources of supply of various aggregates receive particular attention in company investment.
Whether materially or in terms of human resources, P-DG Mahamadou Bonkoungou's company has built a real reputation in the transformation of granite sites.
In Timbou and Nanergou in the Togolese Republic or Kombissiri in Burkina Faso, the installations teach about the place and the leading role of careers in the company's performance. Each site is equipped with large operating machines: HP 300, HP 200, HP 100. "The careers of Timbou and Nanergou have nothing to envy with those of Europe in which I have spent a long time. They are exploited thanks to state-of-the-art technology that makes production optimal," says Carlos Panillo, head of quarries in Timbou and Nanergou. About 30 workers, who have broken down into career occupations such as blasting, are at work 24 hours a day (24). They are in the oven and mill for the needs of all the yards that EBOMAS is responsible for in the North Togo.
The first machine grinds the granite blocks in the following sizes: 0/6, 0/12, 12/45. The last category of stone, i.e. type 12/45, is assigned to the other two machines to be better refined according to the dimensions required on the construction sites. This is where the second machine, HP 200, works to refine the granite in 0/6, 6/4, 14/20 for the manufacture of the serious bitumen (GB). While the third brings the stones to sizes 0/4, 4/10, 10/14 entering the preparation of bituminous concrete (BB). "These are very modern installations and very large capacity. The blasting takes place once a week. This allows for a production of two thousand (2 000) tonnes per day if all conditions are met," says Carlos Panillo, head of quarrying in Timbou and Nanergou.
In addition to coated power plants, quarries also supply concrete power plants. They are downstream and upstream of all road work. Those of Timbou and Nanergou in Togo concentrate an important material endowment. The tasks are supported by four (4) drills, four (4) docklins, five (5) dumpers, four (4) locotraques, and six (6) mills. The cost of each machine is estimated at hundreds of millions of CFAF. Two new dumpers announced. Kombissiri's career, some 30 kilometres south of Ouagadougou, has the same material, technological and human characteristics as Togo's facilities. It supplied the construction site of the national road 14 (Koudougou-Dédougou) with various types of aggregates without interruption.
