Bodjecali-Madecali-Frontier Building Nigeria (Benin): Everything is ready for the crossing of the track

The Bodjecali-Madecali-Frontier Nigeria yard in Benin is beginning its final phase. The decor has just been planted with the installation of a last-generation coated power plant with a capacity of three hundred (300) tons per hour. The application of bitumen on this section is imminent.
The latest adjustments for the Bodecali-Madecali-Iloua Border Nigeria road are complete. As can be seen from the installation of the coated power plant and the arrival of twenty-four (24) trucks for the transport of bituminous concrete and diesel. A hundred (100) kilometres from the site, there is the production quarry of crushed with state-of-the-art equipment and staff at work day and night. The large mobile coated power plant with a capacity of three (300) tons an hour has just been installed at the life base i.e. 2.5 kilometers from the beginning project. The ERMONT technician working at its assembly does not end up drawing attention to its scope in a road project:" It is very rare to find African companies capable of investing in such cutting-edge equipment. The acquisition of this latest generation plant presupposes that the company has sufficient financial resources and human skills to operate it effectively and efficiently. Even Western companies are unable to do so and continue to use old power plants."
This heavy investment in Malanville's work in Benin reflects a desire for speed and quality expressed by EBOMAF CEO Mahamadou Bonkoungou."We consider Benin our own country. We will always bring our expertise and skills for its development », he argued. On the 19.5-kilometre stretch to be developed and built by EBOMAF, the mobilization was unanimous. The foundation and base layers are completed. The cement floor channels a large part of the energies on the ground. The use of a last-generation recycler does not go unnoticed at the site. This device was the object of all admiration during the last ministerial visit led by the head of the Department of Public Works in Benin. If the weather conditions are met, the large recycler is able to scale the materials and cement for a distance of one kilometre a day.
In view of the technological prowess shown by EBOMAF, the Mayor of Malanville, Mr Bako, did not hide his satisfaction at the very near availability of infrastructure to international standards."The means used to carry out the work augurs for a quality work", he argued.
The application of bitumen occurs in a race against time. Singers want to reach this essential part of infrastructure construction before the rainy season is full.
As the work was carried out in a high-precipitation and high-flood area of the Niger River, its full implementation was seriously hampered by the rains from July to September 2013. The weather caused enormous damage and weighed on the completion of the project. They have led to changes in a number of Dalots. Drawing lessons from such a situation, the CEO gave firm instructions to safeguard the technical blocks completed two months ago and to complete all the work as soon as possible. The current deployment of equipment to close the site expresses this ambition at the highest level.
