EBOMAF-BENIN : Dassa-Savalou-Djougou is going well
The implementation of the rehabilitation project for the Dassa-Savalou-Djougou section is in full swing. Multi-disciplinary teams are working to respond positively and diligently to the wishes of the highest Beninese authorities to see the work completed within the deadlines, especially since it is one of the flagship projects of President Patrice Talon's programme. True to its international reputation, EBOMAS put double bites to win this bet brilliantly.
The Dassa-Savalou-Djougou axis is being re-looked at the "high V" speed. Impressive human, material and technical resources have been deployed to give new impetus to this part of national road No. 1 serving Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger from the Cotonou corridor. The site, which was set up on three fronts, displays clear indicators according to the schedule and timing of the work.
After the cement and impregnation tasks over more than 20 km, the workshop of the section Dassa-Savalou has just closed more than 10 km in serious bitumen (GB). A new workshop is planned in Pira with the same dynamism. Under the leadership of the duo Bila-Poussi, the team of Savalou already totals in untreated grave (GNT) 15 km on a 20 km target.
The GB also evolves for about 10 km in a row. At the exit of the commune of Savalou, at PK 51, more than 20 km of cement soil and impregnation are already carried out and ready to receive the application of the GB.
The construction manager, Salif Tarnagda and his men are now converging towards the town of Bante. In Bassila, the team turned to the widening of the road as well as to the earthworks and cement flooring in addition to the impregnation of the two straps that are bassila-manigri and bassila-border Togo currently finished; therefore remain the Gb planned shortly.
Each section competes hard to carry out this work in an emergency and according to the required technical standards. On the Djougou front coming in the opposite direction of the project, it is the same energy that is deployed especially in the work of widening the track and preparing the base layer which will receive in little the various remaining layers of finish.
The same rhythm is felt at Kpataba's crushing career, which constantly supplies all the workshops with materials.
