EBOMAF-TOGO: Borgou-Mandouri started under good auspices




The Borgou-Mandouri yard has been part of the synergy of actions characterising the execution of all EBOMAF's work in Togo. After the installation of the life base at KP 16, the development and bitumening of this axis, which began in November 2013, presents satisfactory indicators of progress.
The dedication of the main managers of the construction site and the hard work of the workers allowed to record gains in a period of time. There has been significant progress in the development and construction of the Borgou-Mandouri section. This coincides with everything agreed between the various parties and the planning of the work. The embankment, clearing and stripping reached PK 30 (NDLR: 1andJuly 2014. For the foundation work, we are at PK 13. The first layer of embankment arrived at PK 28. On that date, twenty-one (21) dalots are ready out of the forty-eight (48) planned. The 16-metre bridge construction facility is in place.
Surrounded by Richard Katin, the manager of the earthworks and ... that of the works, the director of the works, Pierre Adjeklo, regularly reviews the Borgou-Mandouri yard. On this thirty-eight (38) kilometre portion, they ensure that all civil engineering activities, marking the start of Lot 2 of the Dapaong-Mandouri road project, are carried out in the best conditions and according to the specifications for the planning and timing agreed with the contractor and the contractor. Their stops are frequent and permanent exchanges with the leaders of the different teams or sections.
The various stages of earthmoving and erection of hydraulic structures are the most visible on the site. Between the go-and-go trucks, the spins of bulldozers and pocklins, these tasks are in full swing. They follow the constant passages of the topography teams and the emissaries of the laboratory. At the base-life at KP 16, staff and equipment are strengthened as the various activities expand.
