EBOMAF-TOGO: David Walker, Engineer at Van Vliet/Trucks Holland B.V.: "EBOMAF is a successful and forward-looking company"

Staying with EBOMAF in a partnership with the Dutch concessionaire who supplies the construction machinery, David Walker, engineer engineer toVan Vliet/Trucs Holland B.V.declines the content of his mission within the Mechanical section, appreciates this aspect and carries a judgment on the company he discovers for the first time.
What justifies your current presence in EBOMAF?
As an engineer,Van Vliet/Trucks Holland B.V.,the company that delivers the equipment to EBOMAF, I am here to ensure the proper functioning of the machines, to carry out the control of their use and to assist EBOMAF mechanics in their repair and maintenance tasks. I am of British origin working in Holland. My activities allowed me to travel several African countries such as Ghana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, etc. In Burkina Faso, I have just discovered a model company that is concerned with optimizing its returns. To do this, she is surrounded by all the skills that can contribute to a better organization of her services. EBOMAF is offering the key to performance. I felt this ambition among all the workers, especially those in the Mechanical Section that I am responsible for overseeing.
What judgment do you have on EBOMAF that you discover for the first time?
EBOMAFis a society full of future. It seizes all the opportunities offered by globalization to assert itself further in its field of activities. I discovered a modern company through its organization and management. Its primary manager is aware of the challenges in the construction sector. There is not a single opportunity to anticipate things. Few companies have a logbook like the one on which they relyEBOMAFto surround world-renowned expertise. It has taken the path of permanence in a sustainable manner.
What is your appreciation of his Mechanical section?
In terms of material and technical capabilities, EBOMAF may be one of the best-off construction companies in the continent. It's not bluff. The company has a state-of-the-art equipment fleet. Almost all of its machines are of last generation and in very good condition. By creating a mechanical section, his first manager wants to ensure his mastery of an essential part of efficiency and efficiency, sine qua non qualities, to better perform road works for which the use of the machinery is excessive. Maintenance and repair are essential aspects for any BTP company manager who wishes to distinguish himself from others. The EBOMAF Mechanical Section relies on motivated staff with appropriate tools and equipment to complete the work. Spare parts are abundant and diverse. The reinforcement of fourteen (14) mechanics demonstrates the importance attached to this component.
What do you propose to EBOMAF to make its Mechanical section more dynamic?
As I pointed out earlier, the Mechanical section has many advantages to contribute greatly to the performance dynamics sought by society in the realization of road works. It is sufficiently supplied to meet both maintenance requirements and repair needs. Because, as in human beings, in terms of machine management, maintenance is preventive and curative repair. These two aspects must be reconciled to save time and money. In this dynamic, it is necessary to surround the tasks of the staff of the Mechanical Section of a better organization, to support them with a working methodology adapted to the realities of the field, to remind some rudiments of good use to mechanics and users of the machines. The identification of each machine and its technical diagnosis are also necessary and must also occupy an essential place in this quest for efficiency and efficiency. My mission to supervise the Mechanics section, which already has a good base, is part of these objectives. It is necessary to consolidate the achievements in order to enable the company to take the greatest advantage of its equipment in carrying out the work for which it is responsible.
