EBOMAF-TOGO: President Faure Gnassingbé notes the evolution of Pya-Sarakawa-Kanté
The highest Togolese authorities pay particular attention to the achievements of EBOMAF, which has succeeded in imposing, after eight years of presence in the BTP of their country, as a key player in the development of road infrastructure. The Pya-Sarakawa-Kanté yard, 65 km long, benefited on Tuesday 24 January from the visit of President Faure Gnassingbé himself. At the head of a strong delegation, the Head of State was able to see from sight the titaniumic work shot down to rehabilitate the "colonial road" linking Kara to the far north.

The first visit of the Togolese President to a construction site of the EBOMAF Group was greeted with all the honours that the CEO, Mahamadou Bonkoungou and his collaborators are holding. As Togo remains the country that has served as a ramp of internationalization of the leader of the Burkinabe BTP and Faure Gnassingbé, one of the few heads of state to have relied on African expertise to conduct its major work.

Recognition of the work done down on one side, gratitude for the continued confidence of the other, its actual displacement on Tuesday 24 January on the project of development and bitumen of the road Pya-Sarakawa-Kanté is an illustration of the socio-economic progress begun under his judiciary. The realization of this second bypass of the Défalé mountain range does not leave the First of Togolese indifferent. Since Faure Gnassingbé has already occupied the ministerial portfolio of Infrastructures before becoming President of the Republic, more than anyone else knows the role and place of this section in improving the Lomé corridor.

The Pya-Sarakarawa-Kanté road, which is 65 km long, has long seemed to have been forgotten until the present Head of State commits himself to modernising it in order to create a real hope for development among the people and the localities bordering it. "President Eyadéma wanted to achieve this in his lifetime, but because of lack of reliable business, he had to drop. Now President Faure has found the right one and the work is going well. What we see on this section as material, is really very reassuring. It is very important for the President himself to see the progress made. We thank him for keeping his word. The entire population, coming out massively, expresses real satisfaction because young people, pensioners and women, and even the whole community, are already taking advantage of this investment"The village of Kpéssidè has been recognised by a notable figure.

The rehabilitation of the "colonial road" traditionally linking the department of Lama Kara to the far north requires titanic works for which the Togolese government has turned to a company broken to the major works whose achievements force admiration on the national territory since its entry into Togo in 2009. Indeed, the section Pya-Sarakawa–Kantè, National Road No. 21, from the crossroads of Pya, adjoins the large tourist park of Sarakawa, bypasses the Défalé mountains to reach the city of Kantè for a distance of 65 km. The section, less rugged than that passing through Défalé, nevertheless requires the erection of 130 works including the large 100 m bridge of Kpéssidè which constituted the highlight of the visit of President Faure Gnassinbgé. This allowed the Head of State to take the pulse of the works personally and to see the difficulties associated with the implementation of the project, including the movement of networks, the structure of the roadway, the various quarries inspected by the National Laboratory for Building and Public Works (LNBTP) and the misunderstandings with the customary officials.

The release of President Faure Gnassingbé on the Pya-Sarakawa-Kanté site put balm at the heart of the CEO, Mahamadou Bonkoungou, who made the construction of this infrastructure a personal challenge:" We are about 450 km from Lomé the capital. Seeing a head of state travel such a distance to visit a site reflects all the interest he gives to this project. This is the place for me to say thank you to the Head of State and reassure him that we will leave this building, within a few months, head high ».

On the 65 km of the section to be rehabilitated, the earthworks are already completed on 45 km of earthworks; the large 100 m bridge is erected at 62%. Overall, important indicators demonstrate the company's dynamism in carrying out large-scale work and its ability to carry out several projects simultaneously. In addition to Pya-Sarakawa-Kanté, EBOMAF is showing similar effervescence in the work on Borgou-Mandouri, Tandjouaré-Kanté, Mandouri-L
