Joseph Koussoubé and Souleymane Sanogo, Burkinabe students at CESAG/Dakar (Senegal): "Thanks to the CEO of EBOMAF, our dreams are now real!"

Since 2011, Joseph Koussoubé and Souleymane Sanogo have received scholarships from EBOMAF. Thanks to the CEO's benevolence to them estimated at more than 20 million CFA francs, these two former students from the University of Ouagadougou were able to integrate the prestigious African Centre for Graduate Studies in Management (CESAG) where they pursue respectively advanced postgraduate studies in Accounting and Financial Management, in Management Sciences/Option Human Resources. It is with a great deal of gratitude to their benefactor that learners evoke their study stay in Senegal.

How do you appreciate the second year of your studies at CESAG?

Joseph Koussoubé (J.K.):We arrived a little late this year but by the grace of God we were able to catch up. We are now entering the last straight line of the school year. Social adaptation to social conditions has not been easy. But we feel better integrated in this second year.

Souleymane Sanogo (S.S.):Like last year, everything is going well. We draw towards the end of the courses and give the best of ourselves for the success of our academic year.

What are the main joints of your respective formations?

J.K.:I am a Master of Accounting and Financial Management. I am studying various management techniques such as: financial arrangements, financial management, management control, financial and accounting audit, financing techniques for companies and other organisations, techniques for raising funds internationally and in the WAEMU area, etc.

S.S.:I am in Professional Master in Management Sciences/Option Human Resources. These studies include understanding the functioning of enterprises and other organisations, the content of the Personnel Administration and its importance in a company and other organisations, the Preliminary Management of Jobs and Skills and its importance in better managing employees' careers, labour law and the ability to draw up a contract of employment, the Social Responsibility of the Enterprise or the Organisation and managing social relations within a company.

How do you feel about knowing that you could have joined this prestigious school is open to you through a private person?

J.K.:I am apprehensive of my situation as the providence that allows me to acquire a wealth of knowledge in a state-of-the-art school. It is a great satisfaction to us that a man, the CEO of EBOMAF, graciously agreed to open the doors to us. We are confident that we will quickly become involved in working life at the end of our studies and that we will put our knowledge into practice and translate our innovative ideas into practice.

S.S.:My dream came true thanks to the CEO of EBOMAF. It's a privilege he offered me without asking for anything in return. Since joining a prestigious school such as the African Centre for Higher Studies in Management (CESAG) requires a lot of resources (especially financial). This benevolent gesture does not run the streets under our skies.

What could be your post-CESAG projects?

J.K.:I am committed to pursuing a professional career as a Financial Manager and Accountant in a large company or an international institution.

S.S.:I am committed to embracing a career as Human Resources Manager for the application of the management tools available to me.

What message do you have about the EBOMAF P-DG?

J.K.:We will continue to express our gratitude to the CEO of the EBOMAF Group. Each time, we will refer to the advice of "father" whom he gave us at the first hearings to which we agreed. These life lessons are of great use to us in the success of the studies we pursue at CESAG. We wish him much success in his activities. We always hope to benefit from his advice and support to complete our study projects and our integration into working life for us too to continue this chain of solidarity. EBOMAF has now built international respectability through its Communications Service, which has done a quality job every day for the visibility and visibility of this large citizen company.

S.S.:At the CEO's point, I'm showing infinite recognition. It helped to start training in a prestigious school in the subregion. I regard his act as a patriotic sense of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). EBOMAF is a national example of this. It must communicate more to legitimize its actions in favour of society.
