EBOMAF-TOGO: 65% bitumen on Dapaong-Borgou

Lot 1 of the Dapaong-Mandouri road project, the Dapaong-Borgou yard is in full swing. The forty-nine (49) kilometres are being won by the asphalt concrete (BB) coating.
Earthworks completed, sewerage and crossing works completed. The development and construction of the Dapaong-Borgou section has reached its cruising speed. The various tasks of civil engineering follow one another in great steps. The cement floor leaves room for impregnation while it precedes the application of bitumen. With an overall completion rate of 65% on June 30, 2014, lot 1 of the Dapaong-Mandouri-Frontière road project in Benin is inexorably drawing to an end. Major activities and related works are in their final stages.
From Dapaong to Nayéka, the track is completely bitumen i.e. coated with bituminous concrete (BB). It offers a pleasant pavement worthy of a modern road to international standards."I never thought that this axis, so defective that caused all the misery to all users, would one day present such a beautiful face. This is a feat in the development of road infrastructure", entrusts a carrier. Riparian populations see their calvary disappear as the EBOMAS machines and workers launch the last assaults for the modernization of the forty-nine (49) kilometres.
The taskmen and their workers are working on the construction of the piers on the sides of the various bridges and on the finishing of the markets in the villages crossed."My village is feeling a wind of change now. It benefits from stalls constructed of permanent materials and hoses for drainage of rainwater", supports a resident of Morbagou. An eloquent sign of the imminent stage of the project, the Borgou toll station is already under construction.
