Grand bridges of the Koudougou-Dédougou Route: The Mouhoun River almost crossed

The construction of the large bridges on the national road 14 is completed one after the other. This challenge of the Koudougou-Dédougou road is currently being won in serenity. Presented as the "great battle" of the project, the building of a bridge over the Mouhoun river did not really constitute the least thorn of the work in the face of EBOMAF's expertise.

After the piles on this bridge were laid twenty-five (25) metres deep under the streambed, the four (4) spans gradually fill with beams. Eighty (80) metres long, this art work represents one of the most important and modern road infrastructure in the country. It is built on a futuristic vision that guarantees both its resistance and its sustainability. The new bridge of the Mouhoun simply forces admiration. It breaks with archaism, oldness and danger of the old. There are only a few days left for the Mouhoun River to also be crossed like Tenado and Lanfiera, who are waiting to be opened soon to the route of the stretch.

This crossing of one of the largest rivers channels the energies of the EBOMAF Group and the eyes of the users of the national road 14 for which the old routes and bridges represent nightmares. The notable progress of the work is welcomed with joy. Especially since, at the same time, the realization of the roadway is already a reality on a large part of the section. Originally from Dédougou, P-DG Mahamadou Bonkoungou devotes his time, spirit and strength to the execution of this project.

It is omnipresent on the site, as on Monday, April 9, 2012, where it went to put balm at the heart of the workers and brought suitable solutions to the possible difficulties of the construction site. The strict observance of the company's timing and specifications is taken by the first person in charge. And the works of art and sanitation are part of this aim of maintaining a normal evolution of the works. Because the one-hundred-thirty (130) km stretch includes more than a hundred bridges, culverts and dalots. EBOMAF has not squandered on any kind of means to hold the bet of the déenclavement of the region of the Mouhoun Loop.
