Implementation of road projects in North Togo: The constant dynamics of excellence
The process of opening up the Savanes region launched in 2010 by the Togolese government has put EBOMAF on three fronts. After winning the international invitations to tender in accordance with the rules of art, this very African company brings daily proof of its great mastery of the major works. The construction sites of Dapaong-Ponio, Tandjouaré-Cinkanssé, Dapaong-Mandouri reflect undisputed leadership in the civil engineering sector.
The expression of leadership is admired in the major works in the Togolese Republic. The BTP has no secrets for the Bonkoungou Mahamadou & Fils Company (EBOMAF). This is the finding that emerges unanimously after the review of the yards which this society, typically African and with various competences, carries out brilliantly in the northern part of Togo. Since 2010, it has built the most beautiful roads in this region of the country.
These large-scale road projects initiated by President Faure Gnassingbé and his government are being implemented with international sensitivity. The bridges of Dontougou and Tanloaga have already preceded this leadership in the major works. Like the boulevards of 13-Janvier and Agoè-Adidogomè in Lomé. Currently, the Dapaong-Ponio, Tandjouaré-Cinkanssé, Dapaong-Mandouri roadworks illustrate EBOMAF's excellence in a sharp field. With great detail, the human, material and technical capabilities demonstrated by society founded in 1989 by the Burkinabe businessman, Mahamadou Bonkoungou, cultivates afro-optimism.
The above three (3) projects are based on an organizational framework whose effectiveness and efficiency continue to produce the expected results in terms of quality and timeliness. About one thousand five hundred (1,500) workers are currently deployed on the Togolese front. They consist of some 40 experts (engineers, technicians) and workers of various qualifications. This cleverly managed group leads the battle. It is supported by about 100 latest generation vehicles and state-of-the-art facilities: two (2) coating plants, two (2) concrete plants, two (2) quarries. In the face of this force of strike, the activities of topography, earthwork, preparation of layers, erection of works of art, application of coated are the result of an undeniable know-how.
The four (4) major bridges of Dapaong-Ponio, the eight (8) of Dapaong-Mandouri, the two (2) of Tandjouaré-Cinkanssé are being built by master hand. At PK 41 and PK 19 on the Tandjouaré-Cinkanssé site, two fortresses stand there to supply the three road projects with serious bitumen (GB), bitumen concrete (BB), concrete, formwork materials. Not to mention that the living base also installed at PK 19 appears as a dispatching center where administration, equipment and installations are combined. A rigorous working methodology which has been carefully implemented on the three above mentioned sites gives full satisfaction in carrying out the various tasks.
The culture of excellence prevails at all levels. The General Coordinator of EBOMAF in Northern Togo, Thierry Jaboulet, the Director of Works, Modou N Human resources have been enriched by the arrival of eleven (11) Spaniards specializing in bitumen tasks: application of severe bitumen (GB) and bitumen concrete (BB). Some 30 European expatriates are also in charge of the latest generation of equipment. The material potential, already impressive, is expected to be strengthened in the next few days with new orders.
