The bitumen stands on Bouaké-Satama
The bouaké-Satamassokoura, a former city of Satama, which was extended to Satamassokoro, the new Satama, is now evolving at a steady and reassuring pace. Originally 81 km long, this structural project is gradually entering its decisive phase.
Despite significant constraints, both climatic and administrative, the teams deployed in the field have maintained the course. Today, the black ribbon already stretches over several localities from Bouaké, releasing entire villages from dust and isolation that have been rhythmic for decades.

According to information gathered on the ground, the earthworks are currently concentrated on the section linking the two Satamas, which are only three kilometres away. At this stage, about 55 kilometres of road are already bent, while nearly 61 kilometres have been climbed, reflecting a significant progress of the construction site.

At the same time, sanitation works and curing operations are making significant progress, enhancing the sustainability of infrastructure and the future safety of users. The whole project is moving forward in a coherent and methodical manner, in accordance with the standards required for a road of this size.

In just a few months, this strategic axis should be officially open to traffic. It will make it possible to link the great east of Côte d'Ivoire more effectively from Bouaké, facilitating economic, social and cultural exchanges, to the great happiness of the riparian populations who already see, through bitumen, the promises of long-awaited development.
