EBOMAF-BENIN : Cococodji-Hévié-Ouedo-Calavi-Kpota works on a beautiful launch

Major major works are currently being undertaken by EBOMAF in the northern periphery of Cotonou. Cococodji-Hévié-Ouedo-Calavi-Kpota's 21 Km development and bitumen project has taken off. The aim is to transform this axis into a pitty state into a modern double track with all amenities.

One of the main ways of clearing the city of Cotonou, from its National Road No. 1, will carry the EBOMAF claw. The implementation of this project is currently channeling the energies of the company, which is currently spreading its extensive expertise already demonstrated throughout Benin. At the same time with the Missessinto-Zinvié-Sedjedenou-Zè yard, Cococodji-Hévié-Ouédo-Calavi-Kpota works are beating up to offer the Beninese capital one of its most beautiful roads.

Under the leadership of Wenceslas Awaya Hounsou, the Director of Works, who led Korhogo-Karakoro-Aéroport (Côte D Last May, planning activities were concentrated between KP 18 and KP 8,500 or 10 km. This confinement is due to the fact that the right-of-way is not yet fully released to allow an optimal occupation of the 21 km. A dedicated and broken team relies on a variety of different equipment to maintain the site's installation, preparatory work, earthworks, drainage and sanitation. The laying of the hoops and the erection of the dalots even know a training.

The tasks will consist of the development and bitumage of a 21 Km section in 2x2 lanes with a total right-of-way of 30 m including a 7 m wide roadway on both sides of a 1,5 m to 2 m full-central ground (TPC) and sidewalks and channels with a cumulative width of 2.5 m. After the various layers, the road itself will be erected in serious bitumen (GB) and in bituminous concrete (BB). Titanic works are expected on this infrastructure. In addition to the construction of the large Cococodji-Hévié-Ouedo-Calavi-Kpota artery, there is also the double erection of a 240-metre bridge in Hevié. To this, add 10 hydraulic structures (duals) and 40 Km of girders to build.
