EBOMAF-CI : Ferké-Nassian-Kong knows a big accelerator stroke in its execution
The coordination of the Ferké-Nassian-Kong yard has given itself the challenge of meeting the closure of the works before 2019 with a special emphasis on meeting the technical standards of quality. This bet led to the adoption of a new pace of work to speedily implement the schedule. Since this momentum in the execution of the work, the results are already visible on the ground. Users are looking forward to significant progress on this axis.
The Ferké-Nassian-Kong section is one hundred and twenty-one kilometres long (121 km) and has a very rocky profile that makes the implementation of this road project difficult. To this The specific nature of the project, which requires heavy clearing work, adds the long distances between the various material supply sites and the problem of water supply.
Based on his experience in conducting large-scale work, EBOMAF put the double bites to overcome the difficulties and complete the project as soon as possible. The installation of a 15 000 l diesel storage tank boosted the activity of the crushing quarry and allowed continuous work on the site. Express transport of spare parts for the mechanical division, the establishment of a canteen to reduce break times and facilitate the continuous work of the different teams.
With a master hand, the asphalt covers the road very quickly. The site is executed through two fronts at each end. For an execution rate of 70%, the roadway is covered on the Ferké side by going towards Togoniéré over 35 kms of bituminous concrete (BB). The untreated severe workshop (GNT) also evolves to KP 40. From Kong to Nassian, a roadway is covered with bituminous concrete (BB) until PK 17 with a GNT laying extending to PK 20.
This embellishment also concerns the foundation works that are normally evolving. The various sections were closed in late July. In total, more than 90 km linear earthworks. The tasks are currently concentrated on the main section between Kalakala, Sikolo and Nassian. Large works have an estimated 50% execution rate. Three (3) bridges are planned on this 121 km road. The piles the soles and beech of the one hundred (100) m, the longest, are completed. All that remains is the laying of the beams and the casting of the apron. The other 20 m deck is completely finished. The 30m is currently in progress with all the piles already sunk. The construction of dalots is estimated at 85%. Only 13 of the 82 are yet to be achieved.
The Sanitation section also has a good training. The hoses are almost finished with more than 18 km already realized. All compartments of the site were reinforced to increase the supply of quality materials, the rolling stock i.e. cranes and others and the crew of manoeuvres.
