EBOMAF-CI: Ferké-Nassian-Kong yard takes flight
Work is well underway on the Ferké-Nassian-Kong section. Attached from the two ends, PK 00 and PK 121, this road is gradually being transformed into a modern infrastructure. A third front could soon emerge in Sikolo to boost project implementation activities.
The overall rate of progress on this site is estimated at 29.66% on 16 November 2016. The installation of the site is 82%, the clearance of the right-of-way at 98%, the general earthworks at 31.45% until PK 28 500. Twelve kilometers of foundation are completed and 20 km will be delivered in the days of PK 0 to PK 20. Almost all works on this distance are built.

The technical blocks have been completed and soon the 20 km foundation will be fully ready for the installation of the untreated Grave (GNT) on said length. Earthmoving is normally changing. She's already crossed the course of PK 30. The finish emboldens the step for the reception of foundation layers and the installation of the GNT.

As soon as the installation of the bituminous concrete (BB) ends on Korogo, the team committed to this task will be deployed on Férké-Kong to start the same work, says Wenceslas Hounsou Awaya, Director of Works. From two life bases, set up in Ferké and Kong, evolution is concomitant on these two fronts.

The hydraulic structures are also part of the same dynamic. The very forthcoming closure of the Korhogo-Karakoro Airport works will allow staff to be assigned to Sikolo in order to open a third front. Especially as the entire project is very important. Thanks to the dynamism of the President and CEO, Mahamadou Bonkoungou, a large stock of equipment stands throughout the project.

The varied range of machines and machines continues to force the administration of Ivorians. This unmatched strike force gives a tone to the execution of the work.
