EBOMAF-BF: The structure of the northern section of the Contouring track is already perceptible from Gamplela on the RN4 to Sabtenga on the RN2

The northern section of the bypass site is 55 km long. The road under construction of 2x2 lanes on both sides of the central 10 m high ground is majestically shaken. Placed under the coordination of Martin Diabri, the northern section extends from Yimdi on the RN1, road from Bobo-Dioulasso, to Gampélà on the RN4, road from Fada Ngourma, crossing the RN3, road from Kaya to Loumbila, the RN22, road from Kongoussi to Pabré and the RN2, road from Ouahiguya to Sabtenga.
Sixteen months after the actual start of work on 1and October 2019, the level of progress on the northern section of the bypass site is as follows: the brush removal is 100% completed; general earthworks, i.e. embankment, are carried out at about 110%; the shape layer is about 60%; the foundation layer is about 54%. Coatings are in progress: the serious bitumen (GB) is 48% and the bituminous concrete (BB) is 24%.
The northern section of the northern bypass site consists of 4 sections. The first section 1 runs from Yimdi (RN1) to Sabtenga (RN2). At this level, the brush removal is effective; crossing and hydraulic works are being carried out. Four out of the 15 planned are already being implemented. The section 2 runs from Sabtenga (RN2) to the crossing of RN22 (Pabre). On this portion, the brushing is finished; The installation of the track and the earthworks reached about 3 km. The works are over 90% completed.
Section 3 ranges from RN22 (Pabré) to RN3 (Loumbila). This section is in the process of being completed, i.e. the earthworks and foundation are completely completed, the serious bitumen (GB) is placed on about 90% of the linear. Bituminous concrete (BB) is still waiting to be applied. The section 4 from the RN4 (Gampela) to the RN3 (Loumbila), 7 km long, is completely finished and fully ready. He is waiting to be received and open to traffic.
