EBOMAF-BF: The road arch of the northern section of the bypass, almost completed
The development and construction of the North-South bypass of the city of Ouagadougou is in their last straight line. This project, which the people of Burkina Faso are waiting for, is very soon to emerge.

In spite of the weather in recent months, the work has been carried out with great training, particularly on the northern section of the project. Gampèla(RN4)-Loumbila (RN3) is almost complete. With a promotion rate of more than 80%, it already serves as a shortcut between the two national roads.

The railway crossing structure is majestic. Only a few connections remain on this portion so that its layout and bitumening are fully secured.

On the Pabré axis(RN22)-Sabtenga(RN2), the earthworks are 90% and the coatings 70% according to the Head of Mission Keita Abderman. The impregnation and coating tasks follow. All sewerage works are fully completed on this part of the road.

The end of the northern section tunnel is currently being conquered between Sabtenga(RN2) and Yimdi(RN1). The junction of these last ends will give a global frame of this part of the work. The earthworks have already reached more than ten kilometres and there are only five of the 50 buildings left to build.

Work continues under heavy rains. They currently cover civil engineering tasks and concrete activities. The replacement bridge of the RN1 is a reality. The work of the Great Weir of Sabtenga is already effective.

The giratory direction configuration will soon be visible in addition to the more modern horizontal and vertical signs.
With regard to the greening of the section, the Goupe EBOMAF gives priority to the restoration of the environment with new plants planted on the central plain (TPC).
